The purpose of this site is to help students improve their righting. It is mainly used in schools and universities. They also have a vocabulary builder on the paperrater site, it helps students to learn the proper usage of a sophisticated word. Although Paperrater is a good site, they had to overcome some challenges such as computational linguistic design and development, handling transliteration variation, plagiarism detection .
Technically, this is a WEB 2.0 because although I can't control whats on the site; I can control what I upload onto the site to get rated. I"m not sure if that technically quaifies as a WEB 2.0 but I am going to guess and say that it is a WEB 2.0.
In terms of me using the site now, I would probably would use the site. I believe that if I were younger i would have used the site more, just because my writing skills weren't all that great back then. TTYL (love always, Starbucks Junkie)
